2023 was a big year for Scott Pilgrim with the anime adaptation Scott Pilgrim Takes Off being released on Netflix. Now, Oni Press is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the hit comic with two special box sets. These new editions are curated by Bryan Lee O’Malley and feature new artwork by the Eisner Award-winning artist.
Originally published as six black-and-white volumes from 2004 to 2010, the Scott Pilgrim series became a critical and commercial success. Oni Press later published a colorized edition, with colors by Nathan Fairbairn, from 2012 to 2014. Both editions continue to be among Oni Press’ best sellers.
For this reason, the Scott Pilgrim 20th Anniversary edition will be sold in black-and-white and full-color box sets. This marks the first time the original manga-style comics will be collected in a hardcover collection. Both sets will be packed in a deluxe, clamshell collector box designed by Patrick Crotty. At this time, Oni Press has shared a first look inside the box sets — offering a peek at the books’ new covers, as well as some collectible posters. Check all that out below:

In addition to the original comics, with new covers by Bryan Lee O’Malley, both sets will include a compendium on the making of the series. There will be three exclusive sticker sheets, depicting the cast. Finally, both box sets will contain multiple exclusive posters, including a Sex Bob-omb concert print and a deluxe holofoil art print.
