Donna Troy Gets a Major Upgrade in Titans: Beast World Finale

Donna Troy is one of DC Comics most underrated heroines. Part of this is due to her confusing backstory, which has been repeatedly changed over the years. Another issue is her status as a magical clone of Wonder Woman. However, the Titans’ favorite Amazon just got a defensive upgrade that elevates her above other powerhouse heroes.

Titans: Beast World #6 by Tom Taylor, Ivan Reis, Lucas Meyer, and Eduardo Pansica detailed Donna Troy’s new look. The action of the comic found the heroes of Earth fighting both Amanda Waller and the Starro drones created by Beast Boy. Reasoning that the drones were attracted to powerful metahumans, Nightwing hit upon the desperate plan of using Earth’s most powerful heroes as bait.

To deal with those heroes who might be infected, Nightwing and Cyborg devised a secret weapon. They created a special armored suit which would protect one person from the Starro drones and enable them to fight any of Earth’s most powerful heroes. They both agreed that Donna Troy should be the one to don this armor.

Why Donna Troy’s New Armor is so Amazing

The armor is a masterpiece of engineering, made of a breathable liquid metal blend of Kryptonite and Chromium. This enables whoever wears the armor to survive in any environment. Moreover, it allows the wearer to control the mixture of metals within the suit.

There were several reasons why Donna Troy was given this special armor. As an Amazon, Donna is one of the few who could stand up to Kryptonians and Tamaraneans in a one-on-one fight. She is also one of the finest warriors in the DC Universe and could be trusted to end such a fight quickly. However, she could also be trusted to know how much force was needed in any given situation.

Titans: Beast World #6 is now available in comic shops everywhere.
