Exclusive Preview: Fantastic Four #45

The Reckoning War comes to a close in Fantastic Four #45! But things aren’t looking good for Marvel’s first family of superheroes. Reed Richards is prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice to keep the Reckoning from destroying the Marvel Universe as we’ve known it. With his newfound knowledge of the Watchers, Reed has already alienated his friends, She-Hulk and Thing, and left Jack of Hearts to die in a distant part of the universe. Regardless, Reed’s family will mourn him if he passes. Because if the Ultimate Nullifier doesn’t kill him, the knowledge in his head will.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Fantastic Four #45, Dan Slott and artist Farid Karami show us the aftermath of the war as the Thing reunites with his wife and adoptive children. In flashback, we see the combination of Galactus and the Destroyer, The Destruction, as it attempts to devour the Watchers’ homeworld, with most of the FF already on the surface!
