Exclusive Preview: Extreme Carnage Alpha #1

The King In Black has been defeated! However, Knull’s rampage has left some unintended consequences. Eddie Brock is the new leader of the symbioites, and his son, Dylan Brock, has also become the new Venom. Regardless, there’s now some serious anti-alien sentiment on Earth, especially against symbiotes. Even the resurrected Flash Thompson has also encountered a new group that is hunting down symbiotes and other aliens.

Eddie killed Cletus Kasady/Carnage during the events of Absolute Carnage, but that’s never stopped Carnage before! This summer, Carnage is also making his return in Extreme Carnage. And Cletus’ latest rampage is gonna get bloody.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Extreme Carnage Alpha #1, Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Manuel Garcia introduce Senator Peter Krane, the man who may go all the way to the White House on his new anti-alien platform. Additionally, it looks like Carnage has already found his first victim. But why is Carnage pretending to be someone else?

Here’s the official description from Marvel.

“VIOLENCE RUNS IN THE FAMILY!

As the dust continues to settle after the species-redefining KING IN BLACK saga, Eddie Brock and his son, Dylan, won’t be the only ones learning to adjust to a new normal. Collectively called the Life Foundation, symbiotes SCREAM, PHAGE, RIOT, LASHER and AGONY have tried to reconcile the sometimes-noble intentions of their hosts with their often-bloodthirsty impulses.

But the Life Foundation symbiotes aren’t the only ones with a part to play in this story, and they aren’t the only symbiotes who find themselves reinvented after KING IN BLACK. They have an older sibling who may be reinvented in its own right: CARNAGE.
