Three years ago, Adult Swim and Crunchyroll announced plans to create a Blade Runner anime series. Now, Blade Runner: Black Lotus is on the horizon, and the voice cast has been announced.
Former Iron Fist and Game of Thrones star Jessica Henwick will headline the series. She will portray Elle, “a female replicant created for a secret and unknown purpose.” Will Yun Lee also stars as Joseph, “a mysterious figure who owns a spare parts junkyard in Los Angeles.” Veteran actor Brian Cox plays Wallace Corporation CEO Niander Wallace Sr,; while Wes Bently will voice Niander Wallace Jr., Wallace’s son.

Additionally, Josh Duhmael will play a “deadly” Blade Runner named Marlow. Stephen Root will portray LAPD Police Chief Earl Grant, with Peyton List as his wfie, Josephine Grant.
Jason Spisak also rounds out the cast as a journalist named Hooper, alongside Henry Czerny as Doctor M, Gregg Henry as Senator Bannister, and Barkhad Abdi as a black market dealer named Doc Badger.
Blade Runner: Black Lotus will also get a Comic-Con@Home 2021 panel on Friday, July 23. The official first look at the series will take place then.
