Todd McFarlane’s Spawn will be one of the DLC guest fighters in NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11. While we haven’t seen a video of Spawn’s moves in action, we now know that Keith David will lend his voice to Spawn in the game.
David, who previously portrayed Spawn in HBO’s animated series of the same name, confirmed his return on Twitter.
It’s official! I will be the voice of #Spawn in #MK11. pic.twitter.com/dwcUJedDUV

The Spawn animated series originally ran HBO between 1997 and 1999, with David portraying both Spawn and his human self, Al Simmons. It’s been over two decades since David reprised his role. Now, he’s finally getting a chance to return in another R-rated form with Mortal Kombat 11.
However, Spawn fans will have to wait several months to play him. While Spawn is part of the season pass, he’s scheduled to be the last character to arrive on March 17. Hopefully, NetherRealm will provide a preview of Spawn before then, so fans can hear David in action.

Unfortunately, Arnold Schwarzenegger won’t provide the voice of the T-800 Terminator in MK 11. However, his likeness is still in the game.
The Kombat Pack DLC, which features Spawn, Terminator, DC’s Joker and others, can be purchased for $39.99. Two of its characters, Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, are already ready for download.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
