New Harley Quinn Season 3 Trailer Sparks a Battle For Gotham’s Future

In just over two-and-a-half weeks, Harley Quinn season 3 will arrive on HBO Max. It’s been such a long time between seasons that the season 2 finale was originally streamed on DC Universe! But now that Harley and Poison Ivy are back in Gotham City, they’ve got big ideas for its future. As seen in the new Harley Quinn season 3 trailer, the title character and her girlfriend want to turn Gotham into an eco-friendly paradise. However, the Joker has other ideas.

Back in season 2, Joker briefly forgot who he was and he settled down with a single mother and her family. Joker even stayed with his newfound family after his memories were restored. Regardless, the Clown Prince of Crime isn’t letting domestic bliss stop his most audacious scheme to date: He’s running for mayor of Gotham City. And that’s bound to conflict with Harley and Ivy’s ambitions.

The trailer also teases the arrival of Dick Grayson/Nightwing, as voiced by Harvey Guillén. The entire Batman family also appears in the trailer, including Batgirl (Briana Cuoco), Robin (Jacob Tremblay), and Batman (Diedrich Bader) himself. So far, there’s no sign of Tony Hale’s Doctor Psycho. But James Adomian will reprise his fan-favorite role as Bane.

Kaley Cuoco executive produces and stars in the series as Harley Quinn, with Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Clayface and the Joker, Ron Funches as King Shark, Jason Alexander as Sy Borgman, and J. B. Smoove as Frank the Plant.

Harley Quinn season 3 will premiere on HBO Max with three new episodes on July 28. New episodes will follow weekly until September 15.
