Jennifer Walters Goes Green in Marvel’s First She-Hulk Trailer

The first episode of Ms. Marvel is still three weeks away from hitting Disney+, but the MCU is already rolling out the red carpet for its third show of the year. During Disney’s Upfront presentation, Marvel premiered the teaser trailer for its upcoming She-Hulk series, which is now called She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The studio also confirmed that the show will debut on Wednesday, August 17.

Tatiana Maslany stars in the series as Jennifer Walters, a 30-something-year-old career woman who balances her job as an attorney with a fairly active social life. Unfortunately, things get a lot more complicated when she inherits a gamma-irradiated alter-ego from her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). The trailer stops short of giving us Jen’s full origin story. But it does show us how Bruce teaches her to control her transformations and harness her newfound strength.

Jen will face a host of threats during She-Hulk’s nine-episode first season. Chiefest among these is Tim Roth’s Emile Blonsky/Abomination, who recently appeared in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and can now revert to human form at will. We also see a few brief shots of Jameela Jamil’s Titania during a courtroom brawl. But these are nothing compared to Jen’s attempts at getting back into the dating scene, which are sure to end with hilarious results.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will also feature appearances by Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Anais Almonte, and Josh Segarra. Additionally, Marvel has released new key art for the series, which you can view below.
