Many extremely online fans of weekly sci-fi shows make sure to watch every episode right as it drops, to ensure maximum surprise for every plot development. Others prefer to wait till the end of a season, then binge-watch the entire thing. Still more may simply not be interested at first, but once more details leak out, get curious. It’s mainly for these last two groups that the final Star Trek: Picard season 2 poster dropped. Much like the Moon Knight poster we got just the other day, it reveals every major character, not that the show was quite as secretive on that score.
Going into season 2, all most fans knew was that it would deal with the return of Q, a possible alternate future for Jean-Luc Picard, and time-travel to almost-modern Los Angeles. The involvement of the Borg Queen, a newly cast young Guinan, and yet another Data “ancestor” came up along the way. But now that everyone knows the gang that’s all here, they’re on a poster together.

Note also how Picard’s civilian clothes in this image deliberately mimic the design scheme of his final Starfleet uniform. And how unlike downtown LA that cityscape appears, likely because it’s the dark future fascist version. California skies at night, even two years into the future, look way browner.
Fans can watch all of Star Trek: Picard season 2 now on Paramount+. If you haven’t watched yet, will you check it out? Let us know in comments.
