Star Wars fans will have to wait until at least March to get inside Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel. And maybe longer than that. Reservations fill up quickly, and it may take some time to save up and afford the four-figure tab. But earlier tonight, as part of ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney Magical Holiday Celebration 2021, Imagineering gave viewers a bit more of a peek inside. Try to ignore the cheesy variety show acting, and check out the details they reveal.

So we’ll be seeing lightsaber training sessions, navigation, hyperspace jumps, and Twi’lek singers vaguely reminiscent of The Fifth Element. (Which, to be fair, arguably borrowed from Return of the Jedi first.) And lots of sci-fi corridors.

Also, those bars don’t seem likely to limit patrons to two drinks the way Oga’s Cantina does.
A themed hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser takes guests for two-night stays inside a simulated spaceship in the Star Wars universe. Themed food, drink, entertainment and even clothing for patrons allows for total immersion, along with storylines that play out as guests watch. Participants can choose their own level of involvement, starting March 22, 2022.
