Amazon Prime Debuts the First Teaser For The Expanse Season 6

After surviving three seasons on SYFY and avoiding cancellation, The Expanse season 6 is the end of the road. Regardless, Amazon Prime is giving the show a chance to wrap up its story. And it looks like the universe is going to war.

Within the future established by this series, Earth and Mars have been at each others’ throats for years. However, it’s the Belters who have suffered under the heel of both planets. Now, the terrorist Marco Inaros has united the Belt behind him because he has the Free Navy of ships under his command, as well as an arsenal of mass drivers which have already caused heavy casualties on both Earth and Mars.

Amazon Prime has released the first teaser for The Expanse season 6, which warns us that Marco’s power is only increasing. James Holden, Naomi Nagata, and Amos Burton may once again play key roles in humanity’s survival, if the crew of the Rocinante can stick together.

Here’s the official description from Amazon Prime:

“The sixth and final season of The Expanse picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Chrisjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could turn the tide of the conflict.

Meanwhile, in the Belt, Drummer and what’s left of her family are on the run after betraying Marco. And on a distant planet beyond the Rings, a new power begins to rise.”

The Expanse season 6 will premiere on December 10. However, there are only six episodes this season, so they will be released one-by-one until the series finale on January 14, 2022.
