Do you think that Earth would be better off if all of the men suddenly died? That’s not the case in FX on Hulu’s upcoming adaptation of Y: The Last Man. As envisioned by comic book creators Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, the women of this world are just as fallible as the men were. And what comes next won’t necessarily be an improvement.
FX on Hulu has released a new Y: The Last Man trailer that finds Yorick Brown in a very tough spot. While some of the women, like Agent 355, want Yorick to survive, there’s at least one faction that wants him dead “so the new world can be born.”

Ben Schnetzer stars in the series as Yorick Brown, with Ashley Romans as Agent 355. Yorick’s mother, Jennifer Brown (Diane Lane), and his sister, Hero (Olivia Thirlby), both play a large role in the series. For example, Jennifer becomes the President following the mass death of every man in the line of succession. That means it’s President Brown’s job to keep the United States together, if she can.
Amber Tamblyn also stars as Kimberly Cunningham, with Marin Ireland as Nora Brady, Diana Bang as Dr. Allison Mann, Elliot Fletcher as Sam Jordan, and Juliana Canfield as Beth DeVille.
Y: The Last Man will hit FX on Hulu on September 13.
