“Never Trust the French” In Rick and Morty Season 5 Episode 6 Cold Open

Unlike season 4, Rick and Morty season 5 isn’t splitting up its ten-episode run. Unfortunately for Morty, that means five more weeks of his grandfather’s madcap adventures. Additionally, this week’s episode looks like Rick and Morty will once again be in big trouble.

Adult Swim has shared the cold opening for Rick and Morty season 5 episode 6. In “Rick & Morty’s Thanksploitation Spectacular,” the title duo are on a mission to steal the Constitution. Think National Treasure, if you will. However, that plan is going to go out the window pretty fast. Morty’s actions also uncover an unexpected secret.

It’s hard to say where the episode is going to go from there. Hopefully that Statue of Liberty revelation will actually be followed up on. And if Rick is correct, the federal government will also get involved. It’s only been a few weeks since Keith David’s President appeared, but this seems like an ideal episode for him to renew his rivalry with Rick.

Rick and Morty season 5 episode 6 will premiere on Adult Swim this Sunday, July 25.
