The Jade Giantess’ longtime rival is making her way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+. According to Variety, Jameela Jamil has joined the cast of Marvel’s She-Hulk series as the villainous Titania.
Titania first appeared in the pages of Marvel’s Secret Wars event in 1984 as the alter-ego of Mary MacPherran. As a child, Mary was often mocked by her classmates due to her small frame resulting from a premature birth. However, Doctor Doom offered her the chance to become superhuman and join his army on Battleworld. During the fight against the heroes of the Marvel Universe, Mary locked horns with She-Hulk, and they have been bitter enemies ever since.
Jamil’s most well-known role to date is Tahani on NBC’s The Good Place. More recently, Jamil has lent her voice to Netflix’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous along with the Disney Channel’s DuckTales reboot. She currently hosts The Misery Index on TBS and also serves as a judge on HBO Max’s competition series Legendary.
