The party’s going to need a bigger basement when the next season of Stranger Things premieres on Netflix. During today’s portion of the Geeked Week extravaganza, series creators the Duffer Brothers revealed that four new actors have joined the cast of Stranger Things 4, including Amybeth McNulty as a new character named Vickie.
According to Ross Duffer, Vickie “plays a big role in events to come” on the show. She’s also described as a “cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes.” Matt Duffer added that McNulty’s star-making turn on Netflix’s Anne With an E played a significant role in her Stranger Things casting. That series is based on Anne of Green Gables, the classic children’s novel that Hopper has been seen reading to both his daughter, Sara, and Eleven.
McNulty isn’t the only new addition to Stranger Things 4. Netflix has also confirmed that Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien will also play supporting roles throughout the show’s upcoming season. You can check out breakdowns for their characters below.

Stranger Things 4 has been shooting since last year, so it’s unlikely that these actors just joined the series. Regardless, the show still has a few months of filming left before production wraps later this summer. In a recent interview, David Harbour said he has one more “little stint” left to shoot in August, presumably giving him enough time to make promotional rounds for Marvel’s Black Widow.
Netflix still hasn’t announced a premiere date for Stranger Things 4.
