The CW has debuted a brand new promo for the upcoming eighth episode of Supergirl season 6. After the events of the mid-season finale, Kara has finally found her way out of the Phantom Zone. Thanks to the help of her father, Zor-El, and the Super Friends, the heroine can return to her normal life in National City. However, fans will have to wait for a while before watching the new adventures of Kara. The show is taking an extended break until the end of August, with the remaining 12 episodes airing in Fall before the series grand finale, which seems likely to go down during the Holiday Season.

The first part of Supergirl season 6 followed Kara in her attempts to escape from the Phantom Zone, where she was trapped following a clash with Lex Luthor. The upcoming second half will conclude the show, which premiered on CBS in 2015. The last season will run for 20 episodes, ultimately. The series will likely develop the relationship between the titular heroine and her father, Zor-El. The Kryptonian scientist might also play a pivotal role in the showdown between his daughter and the villainous Lex Luthor.
The Supergirl episode 6.08 will debut on The CW on Aug. 24.
