New Lovecraft Country Trailer Questions the Nature of Reality

What are stories? In HBO’s new Lovecraft Country trailer, Atticus Black defines stories as living things that can take the reader or viewer to unknown worlds. But this summer, Atticus; his uncle, George; and their friend, Letitia; are going a dark journey.  Atticus’ father has summoned him to Lovecraft Country, in order to fulfill his family’s legacy. However, the trio has even bigger problems than Jim Crow era racism.

An otherworldly evil is lurking beneath the surface. And the terrifying events of the trailer will force Atticus to question reality itself.
