Untold possibilities and worlds collide in the upcoming Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event. Heroic Hollywood recently shared a new image of The Flash star Grant Gustin filming the crossover.

Gustin is on set, but who is he playing? He’s seen carrying the quiver of Green Arrow. An earlier poster showed Gustin in the Green Arrow costume and Stephen Amell wearing the Flash’s suit. Amell himself tweeted, “my name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive.” Whether this means their entire teams switch or only the two leads remains to be seen. Maybe this will even revisit Barry Allen’s missed opportunity with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).
Equally as interesting is the location. Gustin is in Smallville spending time on the Kent family farm. There are already many possibilities of who or what brought Gustin’s character to Smallville. Superman, Supergirl, and Lois Lane have all been seen on one or multiple sets. It was announced earlier today that Lex Luthor will be coming to Supergirl. All of this excitement already and we still haven’t seen Gotham City or Ruby Rose protecting it as Batwoman.

Several previews and on set pictures have surfaced as the crossover is currently being filmed. It’s important to remember that nothing can be assumed in Elseworlds. Gustin could be playing Flash, Arrow, or even a Clark Kent who found a green quiver laying in the corn field. Previous Elseworlds stories from DC Comics have mashed up two heroes into one new version. We could be looking at the Fastest Archer Alive.
