Universal Pictures and Marc Platt Productions have acquired rights to Talent, the comic book series by Christopher Golden and Tom Sneigoski, reports Variety.
The comic is based on a college professor, the sole survivor of a plane wreck who slowly discovers he’s inherited the abilities of the passengers who’ve died. He then has to put his new talents to use as he finds himself chased down by members of a shadowy conspiracy.
Talent, is being published by Boom! Studios and was brought in by Platt executive Nicole Brown. Along with Platt, Boom Entertainment’s Ross Richie and Andrew Cosby will produce the film.
