The Dominion Post reports that 30 Days of Night will be shot in New Zealand:
A vampire flick set in Alaska has become the latest big-budget Hollywood movie to be shot in New Zealand.
Filming for 30 Days of Night – produced by Spider-Man director Sam Raimi and Lucy Lawless’ husband Rob Tapert – is expected to begin in Auckland in July. Auditions were held in Wellington yesterday.
Previous films from the pair’s production company Ghost House Pictures include the horror Boogeyman, shot around Auckland in 2003, which starred Lawless.
