20th Century Fox’s Alien vs. Predator dominated the Friday box office with an estimated $17.2 million from 3,395 theaters.
Second place belonged to Disney’s “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement,” which earned $8.2 million from 3,472 theaters and has collected $22.4 million since opening Wednesday.
Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx thriller “Collateral” added $4.7 million for a $41.1 million total and newcomer “Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie” made $4.5 million from 2,411 theaters for fourth.
Matt Damon’s “The Bourne Supremacy” rounded out the top five with $2.4 million for an impressive total of $132.5 million so far.
Spider-Man 2 dropped to the tenth spot, making $0.9 million, and has earned $358.5 million domestically.
