Make-up artist Bill Corso recently shared three exclusive photos of Wesley Snipes from the set of Deadpool and Wolverine.

Along with the images on Instagram, Corso also shared what transpired behind the photos that he had just posted. He stated, ”July 14, 2023 I remember this day very well because it marked not only the halfway point on Deadpool and Wolverine, but it was also the day that a possible SAG strike was to occur….which we all know it did. So on that crazy day, we not only shot a huge sequence with Wolverine facing off against Sabertooth, but we also tested the looks of Elektra, Gambit, and Blade.”

Check out the photos shared by Bill Corso below:

Wesley Snipes last appeared on the big screen as Blade in 2004. Thus, him reprising that role after 20 years was a dream come true for many. Complimenting Snipes, Corso further wrote, ”Here are a couple of shots of the OG Marvel Cinematic Hero who is Mr. Wesley Snipes, back in his Blade look after 20 yrs and like the day walker he is, didn’t look a day older.”

The praise for Snipes is not just from fans but from his co-stars as well. According to ComicBook, following the release of Deadpool and Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds, who made the cameo possible stated, ”There is no Fox Marvel Universe or MCU without Blade first creating a market. He’s Marvel Daddy.” Along with this, Reynolds also demanded a “Logan-like send-off” for Wesley Snipes’ Blade.
