Marvel Gives Trevor and Morris Their Own Shang-Chi Character Posters

Simu Liu may be the star of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. But whenever he shared the screen with Sir Ben Kingsley, he essentially became a supporting player in his own movie. Kingsley reprised his Iron Man 3 role as Trevor Slattery (a.k.a. the fake Mandarin) in the film. Now that his MCU return is out of the bag, Marvel has released a pair of new Shang-Chi character posters that spotlight both Trevor and his furry, faceless companion, Morris. Check them out for yourself below.

Shang-Chi marks the first time Trevor has been seen since he was kidnapped from prison in Marvel’s All Hail the King one-shot. In that time, Trevor has been locked up in Wenwu’s compound, avoiding a death sentence by serving as the Ten Rings’ jester. As a bonus, Trevor even managed to kick his drug habit as well. Luckily, Trevor had company during his incarceration thanks to Morris, a mythical hundun who later helps the film’s heroes find their way back to Ta Lo.

Much like his appearance in Iron Man 3, Kingsley provided a lot of Shang-Chi’s comic relief. His interactions with Morris were some of the film’s most precious moments. Luckily, Trevor and Morris both survived the events of the movie. So whenever Marvel gets the ball rolling on a Shang-Chi sequel, they seem likely to return.
