Warner Bros. Releases New Dune Character Posters

Denis Villeneuve was able to secure a cast of A-list performers for his highly-anticipated Dune remake. And with the film finally hitting theaters in October, Warner Bros. is starting to ramp up its marketing campaign with a new series of posters that spotlight their individual characters. You can check them all out in the gallery below.

Timothée Chalamet leads off this series as the movie’s hero, Paul Atreides, the reluctant savior of the planet Arrakis and its people. Paul’s parents, Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac) and Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), get their own posters as well. We also see two key members of Duke Leto’s inner circle. Duncan Idaho (Jason Momoa) serves as House Atreides’ swordmaster and also trained Paul in the art of fencing. Meanwhile, Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin) is Leto’s weapons master.

The studio has also released posters featuring Paul’s love interest, Chani (Zendaya), and her uncle, Stilgar (Javier Bardem). Both characters are Fremen belonging to Sietch Tabr (led by Stilgar) who wander Arrakis’ desert terrain. Like Lady Jessica and her fellow Bene Gesserit, the Fremen make frequent use of the spice melange, which causes their eyes to take on a radiant blue hue. Finally, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård) graces the last poster, giving us our best look at the villain yet.
