The trailer highlights footage from both The Witcher series on Netflix and the video games published by CD Projekt Red. The streaming service and the game studio are teaming up to produce WitcherCon, which was formally announced during Netflix’s Geeked Week festivities earlier this month. Naturally, this would be the ideal place to reveal new info about the TV show’s second season, which still doesn’t have a release date. We might also learn some new information about Netflix’s spinoff series, The Witcher: Blood Origin, as well as the upcoming animated film, Nightmare of the Wolf.

As for the video games, it’s anyone’s guess as to what sort of announcements CD Projekt Red has in store. One possibility is a new look at the studio’s upcoming mobile game, The Witcher: Monster Slayer. Plus, many fans are still eager to find out when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will finally hit next-gen consoles.
WitcherCon’s first stream kicks off on Friday, July 9 at 10am PST on both Twitch and YouTube. A second stream will commence at 6pm.
