The CW has dropped a shiny new promo for the upcoming fourteenth episode of The Flash season 7. In the next installment, a familiar face will return to Central City as Esperanza Garcia, a.k.a Ultraviolet, meets Barry Allen and the others again. From the images, it appears that it will be Allegra to step forward and find her cousin, Esperanza (unlike in the comics, where she is Allegra’s adoptive mother). But the path for reconciliation is still long, and things might take an ugly turn with ease. Ultraviolet made her on-screen debut in season six. So far, she has been mentioned a few times in season 7, but this will be her first appearance in the show’s latest season.

Danielle Panabaker directed the episode with a story by Jess Carson and a teleplay by Jonathan Butler and Gabriel Garza. The official synopsis for “Rayo de Luz” reads:
“DANIELLE PANABAKER DIRECTS – When Ultraviolet (guest star Alexa Barajas) returns to Central City, Allegra (Kayla Compton) is determined to find her cousin and change her heart. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) finds evidence that Kristen Kramer (guest star Carmen Moore) may not be the good cop she appears to be.”
The next episode of The Flash airs at 8 pm on The CW on June 22.
