In a little more than a month, the cinema’s mightiest behemoths will lock horns in the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong movie. To keep the interest high, the producers are releasing new promotional material every week. In the latest Godzilla vs. Kong clip from IGN FanFest, we get a taste of what will happen at the end of March when the titular heroes clash on the big screen. The short video features Godzilla attacked by many warships, and his first meeting with Kong. The dynamic of the fracture between humankind and the King of the Monsters is yet to be revealed, since he saved the Earth by defeating King Ghidorah in 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Godzilla shrugs off all the missiles from the warships with ease, but something else is eager to attempt a shot at the kaiju. Kong, the King of Skull Island, is looking forward to the resistance of Godzilla’s chin against his punches.

Adam Wingard is directing Godzilla vs. Kong, a follow-up to both King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island. The cast features Millie Bobby Brown, Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Ogury, Eiza Gonzalez, Kyle Chandler, as well as Demian Bichir and Lance Reddick. The upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong will hit both theaters and HBO Max on March 31.
