Wonder Woman 1984 Debuts a New Poster and Returns to CCXP

Wonder Woman 1984 Debuts a New Poster, Returns To CCXP

After numerous delays, Wonder Woman 1984’s road to release is finally coming to an end this holiday season. But it looks like the film is making one last stop on the (virtual) convention circuit before it premieres. Warner Bros. has confirmed plans to promote Wonder Woman 1984 at the Comic-Con Experience (or CCXP) in Brazil on December 6. The studio made the announcement on their Brazilian Twitter page, where they also released a new poster for the highly anticipated sequel. You can check it out for yourself below.

This actually won’t be WW84’s first visit to the annual Brazilian event, which is normally held in São Paulo. Last year, director Patty Jenkins and Diana herself, Gal Gadot, came to the event in person to debut the movie’s first teaser trailer. It’s still not clear whether Jenkins, Gadot, or any other cast or crew members will make virtual appearances for WW84’s panel at this year’s convention. However, there’s a rumor floating around that a final trailer might be on its way.

Brazil also happens to be one of several countries that will get to see Wonder Woman 1984 almost a full week before American audiences can watch it. Earlier today, Warner Bros. announced all international release dates for the film, which will premiere in Brazil and a few other South American and Asian territories on December 17.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters and HBO Max in the U.S. on December 25.
