Exclusive Preview: Werewolf By Night #2

Jaime Gomez AKA Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas has introduced a new Werewolf By Night to the Marvel Universe. Jake Gomez, a 17-year old living on a Hopi reservation has inherited the family curse. When night falls, Jake becomes a powerful werewolf. However, Jake does have an advantage over his predecessor, Jack Russell. Jake and his girlfriend, Molly, have figured out how to guide Jake’s werewolf persona through music. “Control” isn’t quite the right word for it. Because even with the music, the werewolf has a mind of its own.

Regardless, Jake has realized that his employers at Life Pharmaceuticals are behind a series of disappearances on the reservation. But when Jake found a few of the victims, he was ambushed by three augmented killers.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Werewolf By Night #2, Taboo and his co-writer Benjamin Jackendoff, and artist Scot Eaton put Jake in a fight that is way over his head. He’s just not quite ready to be a solo hero. Fortunately for Jake, he may soon have some backup from another Native American hero: Red Wolf!
