With only four episodes left, HBO’s Lovecraft Country is proceeding towards the conclusion of Season 1. To pump up the fans for the upcoming seventh episode of the show, the television network has released a brand new promo. In the latest episode, fans discovered some dark secrets about Atticus’ past and his relationship with Ji-Ah. And even though she’s a Kumiho monster who absorbs men’s souls, she falls in love with Atticus and choses to spare his life.
But it seems that the next installment will focus on Atticus’ aunt, Hippolyta Freeman. The latter has always dreamed about getting into some adventures of her own, even if it means to fight against her husband’s misgivings. But it seems that her itch for adventure might take her well beyond her wildest dreams.

Helen Shaver directed the episode written by Misha Green and Kevin Lau. The official synopsis of “I Am” reads, “Hippolyta’s relentless search for answers takes her on a multidimensional journey of self-discovery, and Atticus heads to St. Louis to consult an old family friend.”
Misha Green is the showrunner of Lovecraft Country. Green also executive produces together with Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams.
Lovecraft Country episode 1.07 will premiere on HBO on Sept. 27.
