Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Trailer Takes the Battle To the Sith

Although Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order won’t arrive for a few weeks, EA has already released a new launch trailer that shows a dangerous journey ahead for the game’s lead character, Cal Kestis.

The trailer shows off a few of the enemies that the ex-Jedi Padawan will face. Right off the bat, players are introduced to a deadly new foe — who appears to be one of Inquisitors in Star Wars: Rebels. The game also features the Second Sister, an Inquisitor who is hunting Cal across the galaxy.

Cal’s mentor, Cere Jundo, also explains that the Empire has begun acting on Order 66, from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. As a result, Cal will have to not only fight to stay alive, but to restore hope to the galaxy.

Jedi: Fallen Order’s trailer also features new gameplay footage, which emphasizes more the lightsaber combat. Cal will find himself in situations where he’ll need to use his wits to subdue enemies. These include deadly opponents, like the aforementioned Inquisitors, as well as larger ones, like an AT-ST.

Respawn, the developer behind the game, really show off the game’s polished visuals in the new footage. Even though the trailer is only a minute long, it gives fans a good idea of what to expect when the final game arrives. Clearly the Force is strong with this one.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 15.
