Stephen Amell Makes Big Promises About Crisis

Crisis On Infinite Earths is bringing the Arrowverse together in December. And according to Arrow star Stephen Amell, it’s going to be the “coolest comic book thing” on television. Amell recently took to Instagram and posted an emotional video to announce that he’s finished filming for the crossover event. It will also serve as the final crossover for Amell before Arrow wraps up its last season.

Crisis On Infinite Earths: done. I’m done, the crossover,” said Amell in the clip. He also mentioned that “Benjamin Button in the third act makeup,” which may mean that a younger version of Oliver Queen may appear in the story.

Amell also said “I think that it’s probably the coolest comic book thing that’s ever been on TV, and that makes my heart happy.”

This leaves just two more episode of Arrow to film before Amell leaves his role as Oliver Queen. Amell’s video is below, and there is some NSFW language. But it’s definitely a must-watch for fans of his run in the Arrowverse.

Crisis on Infinite Earths will premiere on December 8 with a new episode of Supergirl. It will then continue on December 9 with Batwoman and December 10 with The Flash. Then it’ll take a break before continuing on in the New Year on Jan. 14. It’ll conclude its run with back-to-back episodes of Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
