Titans Season 2 Premiere Photos Released by DC Universe

A new batch of photos from the first episode of Titans season 2 are out. In them, we get a closer look at the protagonists of the series. And it’s also pretty clear that something bad is going on; the majority of the team has black eyes. Check out the Titans Season 2 premiere photos in the gallery below.

Titans follows a group of young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy. One that could bring Hell on Earth. With other heroes joining them along the way, together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

The season two premiere episode follows directly after the apocalyptic events of last season’s finale. Rachel’s father, Trigon (guest star Seamus Dever), successfully turned Dick dark. Now he sets out to win the others over to his side by embracing their inner darkness. With everyone under Trigon’s control, Rachel and Gar find themselves fighting what seems like a hopeless battle.

The series main cast includes Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire, Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Hawk and Dove, as well as Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Lindsey Gort as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach.

Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter all serve as producers, along with Weed Road Pictures, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.

Season 2 of Titans will kick off on September 6 on DC Universe, though all the episodes will be available to stream on the upcoming HBO Max streaming platform as soon as it launches.
