Natalie Gumede to Guest Star as Mercy Graves on DC Universe’s Titans

Deadline is reporting that Natalie Gumede (Doctor Who, Death in Paradise, Clubbed) joins DC Universe’s Titans series in the recurring guest star role of Mercy Graves.

Graves is described as the ruthless, cunning, right hand and bodyguard to the notorious Lex Luthor. Moreover, serving her boss with unquestioned loyalty, Mercy has been a family friend in Lex’s life since they were young.

Graves first appeared in a Season 1 episode of Superman: The Animated Series in 1996. Later, the character was introduced to official continuity in 1999 in a Detective Comics issue.

Gumede will join Esai Morales as Deathstroke, Chella Man as Deathstroke’s son Jericho Wilson, and Chelsea T. Zhang as Deathstroke’s daughter Rose Wilson (aka The Ravager). Furthermore, Iain Glen will appear as Bruce Wayne/Batman for season two.

Titans follows a group of young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Also joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Eventually, they become a surrogate family and team.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven, and Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire. Additionally, Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) play Hawk and Dove, with Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Lindsey Gort as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach.
