Skybound Announces Definitive Edition of Telltale’s The Walking Dead

Telltale’s critically acclaimed The Walking Dead series came to a bittersweet end last month after four seasons and 23 episodes. Now, all of the game’s installments are getting bundled together in a single deluxe package. Skybound Entertainment has just unveiled The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game premiered in 2012 and introduced players to a young girl named Clementine. Orphaned as a result of the zombie apocalypse, Clementine spends the next several years traveling with various groups of survivors and fending off ravenous hordes of the undead. Voice actress Melissa Hutchison portrayed the character throughout the game’s seven-year run.

Skybound Insiders also have the chance to pre-order three different collector’s editions of the game. The Protector Pack ($99.99) is the base version. It includes a t-shirt, hat, enamel pins, nesting dolls, and a plush Disco Broccoli. Next up is the Guardian Pack ($249.99), which includes all the goodies from the Protector Pack in addition to a diorama of Clementine and Lee Everett, who appeared in the game’s first season. The Guardian Pack also features an 18”x24” art print courtesy of comic book artist Eric Zawadzki.

Finally, Skybound is offering a Signature Pack ($349.99). This option includes all previously listed extras along with another art print signed by the Still Not Bitten development team, the game’s voice cast, and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman himself. Unfortunately, all 100 copies of the Signature Pack have already sold out.

Pre-orders for The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series will go live tomorrow on Skybound’s official website. You can check out an announcement video from Skybound below.
