The CW has released a new TV spot for Arrow Season 5 featuring the new members of Team Arrow assembling together. The new team will feature some new and returning faces like Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Madison McLaughli as Evelyn Sharp, and Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt. Check out Team Arrow 2.0 in the player below!
Titled “Legacy,” the Season 5 premiere is officially described as follows:
“After Laurel’s death and the departures of both Diggle and Thea from Team Arrow, Oliver takes to the streets solo to protect Star City’s citizens as the Green Arrow. With Felicity guiding him from the bunker, Oliver is forced to deal with a city that has become overrun with both criminals and a slew of new (and painfully inexperienced) vigilantes. Watching Oliver try to balance his jobs as both the mayor and also the protector of Star City, Felicity suggests he form a new team, but Oliver resists. However, when a deadly new criminal, Tobias Church (guest star Chad L. Coleman), enters the picture, Oliver realizes the best thing for the city might be a new team of superheroes. Meanwhile, the flashbacks take us to Russia where Oliver faces off against the Bratva.”
Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance. The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter.
The guest stars for Arrow Season 5 also includes Josh Segarra as Vigilante, The Walking Dead star Chad L. Coleman in the villain role of Tobias Church, Joe Dinicol as mystical vigilante Ragman, and Marvel’s Jessica Jones star Wil Traval as Human Target
