Bryan Singer Teases More Behind the Scenes on X-Men: Apocalypse

It’s nearly every day that we get a new behind-the-scenes image or mysterious video from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse thanks to director Bryan Singer and his frequent social media postings. Today he gives us two glimpses, one a still of Singer giving “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner (who’s playing Jean Grey) a run for her money in the archery department, as well as stop-motion video of a gimbal in action. Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult are set to lead the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse as Magneto, Professor X, Mystique, and Beast. The film will also see the return of Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till as Havok, Evan Peters as Quicksilver and newcomers Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee. Oscar Isaac is starring as the film’s title antagonist and recently confirmed that he will take on the multiple forms of the villain and will also assemble his horsemen. Writer/producer Simon Kinberg is scripting the film from a treatment he wrote with X2: X-Men United writers Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris.

Said to be the conclusion of a trilogy started with X-Men: First Class and continued with X-Men: Days of Future Past, the Bryan Singer directed X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.
