The original series was published in 2002 with a follow-up in 2004 and is described as “a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband and wife paranormal investigator team — based in Midnight, Massachusetts — that takes on supernatural foes, macabre mysteries and the most frightening creature of all: marriage.” Series creator John Rozum will serve as an executive consultant on the show.
This is the second time NBC has tried to develop the series with a failed attempt happening just three years ago.
