R.I.P.D. Moves Back Three Weeks

Three weeks is nothing compared to the ten-month delay they’ve placed upon Carl Rinsch’s samurai film 47 Ronin, starring Keanu Reeves, which was originally supposed to come out in early November 2012 but was first pushed back till next February and now has settled on a release date of Christmas Day 2013.

Unfortunately, this also means that the movie will be coming out five months after James Mangold’s The Wolverine, which also has samurai themes and a mostly Japanese cast, which means comparisons will be inevitable.
