Sabretooth Makes MCU Debut in Deadpool & Wolverine Video

Sabretooth officially makes his MCU debut in a new Deadpool & Wolverine video.

Marvel Entertainment has shared a new promo video for Deadpool & Wolverine, which releases in United States theaters this July. The video includes footage of Tyler Mane’s Sabretooth, with this being the first time that the character has been in an MCU movie.

Mane played Victor Creed/Sabretooth in the 2000 X-Men movie. Sabretooth also had a prominent role in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he was portrayed by Liev Schreiber.

Additionally, the video explains that this version of Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, “let down his entire world.” It was previously confirmed that the Wolverine featured in the forthcoming MCU movie is from a different reality than where 2017’s Logan was set.

Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy, who previously worked with Reynolds on 2021’s Free Guy and 2022’s The Adam Project. Levy and Reynolds wrote the screenplay for the movie with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in United States theaters on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase 5 of the MCU. Tickets are now on sale at Fandango.
