Spider-Man: No Way Home Concept Art Reveals Peter’s Final Suit

Although Tom Holland’s onscreen team-up with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield was easily the best thing about Spider-Man: No Way Home, the movie saved another surprise for the end. Taking a cue from earlier films in the franchise, the sequel featured a “final swing” that showed Peter Parker hopping around Manhattan rooftops sporting a new costume that many fans have hailed as the most comic-accurate rendering of the webhead’s classic look. Unfortunately, Marvel still hasn’t released any official images of the suit. Regardless, one of the studio’s lead concept artists is giving us a peak inside the design process.

Ryan Meinerding, Marvel’s head of visual development, shared concept art for Peter’s final No Way Home costume on Instagram earlier today. The image gives us our best look yet at the suit’s appearance, including the new-and-improved spider emblem on the chest. You can view Meinerding’s illustration below.

Because Peter sewed the costume himself, it may not have the same technological enhancements that his earlier outfits possessed. Costume designer Sanja Milkovic Hays has also claimed that the suit we saw in the movie was a CGI creation. In other words, her team didn’t have to make a practical version for Holland to wear. Regardless, there’s always hope for its return future Spidey installments.

Following its record-breaking theatrical run, Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally hit digital on March 22. The film will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on April 12.
