It’s been almost 12 years since the last Indiana Jones film hit theaters, and the upcoming fifth movie may ultimately prove to be the end of the road for Harrison Ford’s iconic hero. Regardless, the Man in the Hat is coming back next summer. After numerous COVID-19 related delays, Indiana Jones 5 has finally wrapped filming. The news was broken by producer Frank Marshall, who shared a picture on Twitter. Indiana Jones 5 producer.

While Steven Spielberg isn’t directing the new film, he and Marshall remain attached as producers. Logan director James Mangold is helming the sequel, and he also shared his response to the end of filming.

Mangold also co-wrote the script for Indy 5 with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth. Very little is known about the story, and a trailer is probably at least a few months away.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge will co-star in the film with Ford, alongside Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas.
Indiana Jones 5 will hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
