Director Chloé Zhao’s Eternals movie has finally arrived, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it! This post is a place for all of you to leave your own reviews, thoughts, or anything else you want to say about Eternals.
The early critical reaction has been mixed at best. Regardless, Eternals is the latest Marvel film to top the box office with approximately $71 million. That’s not bad for a movie without any big name heroes. Instead, it’s got a large ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Don Lee, Salma Hayek, and also Angelina Jolie. Kit Harington had a much smaller role than expected. However, there are signs that his MCU role will grow in the near future.

Barry Keoghan’s Druig plays a surprisingly large role in the conclusion given how little promotion he had. Additionally, Brian Tyree Henry’s Phastos received relatively little time as the MCU’s first gay hero on the big screen. Yet Druig and Phastos were among the fortunate, since not every character made it out alive.
The mid-credits and post-credits scenes both introduced some long-overdue characters into the MCU. And those scenes are arguably some of the most exciting moments in the movie. Marvel has promised that “Eternals will return.” But when and where remains to be seen. Only Arishem knows for sure.
