There might still be some time before fans will see any reboot of the Resident Evil movie saga. In the meantime, they can rewatch the adventures of Milla Jovovich’s Alice in the upcoming Resident Evil 4K Ultra HD Collection that Sony Pictures just announced in a press release. The bundle will include all six movies of the saga on 4K Ultra HD discs. Fans will get their hands on Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil: Afterlife, as well as Resident Evil: Retribution and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Many will be glad to hear that Apocalypse is coming in both the original theatrical version and the extended cut. On top of that, there will be hours of bonus content across all six films, including rare archival featurettes previously unavailable on disc.

“Based on the popular video game series by Capcom, the Resident Evil franchise stars Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element) as Alice, a superhuman security expert pitted against the sinister Umbrella Corporation as the world’s population is transformed into flesh-eating creatures by one of its most dangerous biological weapons.”
The Resident Evil special bonus also includes an alternate ending with director Paul W.S. Anderson’s video introduction. A filmmakers’ commentary has been announced for all movies except Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Among the other bonus featurettes, Sony has also announced many deleted and extended scenes from the films.
