Chris Hemsworth Says He’s All In For Asgardians of the Galaxy

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Avengers: Endgame!

Although characters like Captain America and Iron Man reached definitive conclusions in Avengers: Endgame, Thor had a much more open ending. Thor gave up Asgard’s throne and decided to travel alongside his newfound friends, the Guardians of the Galaxy. While some of the Guardians were pleased to have him along, Star-Lord, aka Peter Quill, seemed a bit threatened by Thor. Regardless, this could present some new possibilities for their next adventure.

Chris Hemsworth, recently spoke with CinemaBlend about a returning as Thor in a future MCU film. Although Hemsworth’s involvement in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hasn’t been confirmed yet, he indicated that he’s up for it.”

“I’d play that character again,” said Hemsworth. “I love it so much – especially if there’s something unique to do again with it. I felt like the last three films were very, very different each time. It really felt like a totally different character. And I don’t even know when or if they’re shooting [Guardians of the Galaxy 3]. After the Avengers press tour I kind of went and buried my head in the sand.”

“I’ll work with any of those guys. Asgardians of The Galaxy. That’s actually great. You might’ve just got me my next job. Thank you, man,” joked Hemsworth.
