Avengers: Endgame’s climactic fight scene pit virtually every hero of the MCU against Thanos’ massive army. But to their immense credit, the Russo brothers managed to include some levity amidst all this chaos. One example of this came when a freshly undusted Peter Parker reunited with Tony Stark for the first time since Thanos snapped his fingers five years prior. Tony cut off Peter’s excited rambling with a hug, which was easily one of Endgame’s most heartwarming scenes. Now, Robert Downey Jr. has offered fans a new look at that instantly iconic moment.
A new video posted to Downey’s Instagram account shows him acting out another version of the exchange with Tom Holland. The footage admittedly looks a bit silly since it’s devoid of any visual effects. Regardless, it’s still a fun watch. You can check it out for yourself below.

Tony and Peter’s embrace was pretty much the only proper reunion the final battle allowed. However, this wasn’t always the case. While appearing on the HappySadConfused podcast (via /Film), the Russos shared that similar reunions were ultimately left on the cutting room floor.
