Hot Toys Kidpool Figure Comes With 1:6 Scale Couch

Heard any good couch jokes lately? We’re just spitballing as to why such furniture would be included with the official Deadpool & Wolverine Hot Toys Kidpool figure. Maybe you can pose a Tom Cruise figure jumping on it. Or perhaps Deadpool can simply drop it on someone’s head. The likeliest solution is the simplest: kids with attitude tend to spend a lot of time on couches, whether playing games, watching TV, or simply dodging chores. Based on the movie, all we really know is that she — yes, she — has a super-foul mouth, and an attitude to match. So even though there are no onscreen scenes of her on the couch, we reckon she spends some time on one.

Settee of Dreams

The 8.6-inch tall figure doesn’t just come complete with seating arrangements, however. She also brandishes detailed, translucent water pistols, as well as kid-sized katanas. Given that those swords look just as deadly as every other ‘Pools, we’re gonna take a wild guess that there’s something other than water in the squirt guns, too. In the movie, anyway — these are just replicas, and not actual working squirters.

Let’s go to the official description, which mentions, “a newly developed masked head with multiple pairs of interchangeable eye piece, a distressed red and black costume that recreates Kidpool in her two-layered hoodie and red pants with kneepads, and a pair of matching sneakers. The Kidpool Special weapons—a pair of water guns, backpack with two katanas, interchangeable hands for different poses and gestures, are included alongside the figure. What’s more is that a gray colored couch with battle damage effect is going to complete your own beautiful “Deadpool family photo” in 1/6th scale!”

Don’t expect a big price cut because Kidpool’s shorter than most Hot Toys. The couch makes up for that, and you’re looking at a cost of $240, with payment plans available. Patience is also of the essence — if you’re lucky, this figure might ship by next Christmas, by which time all those couch jokes in the zeitgeist will be super-old. Unless Tom Cruise jumps on one again for real.
