LEGO‘s blind-bagged minifigs make a nice, affordable gift under the $10 price point, and can typically get quite creative. Frequently they simply feature some of the weirder LEGO characters. but can also feature licensed properties like The Simpsons or Looney Tunes. The next wave, however, might just be the biggest yet, as it features characters from the Disney Plus Marvel shows. WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If…?

Naturally the title characters all see representation here. Falcon/Captain America, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, White Vision, and Loki are no surprise. (Though Loki coming packed with Frog Thor is.) But the wave offers some new variables. WandaVision’s take on Monica Rambeau also shows up, as does Sylvie with alligator Loki. And What If…? Introduces Captain Carter, Ravager T’Challa, zombie hunter/Dr. Strange Spidey, Zombie Cap, and Gamora, daughter of Thanos. Typically, zombies aren’t LEGO’s wheelhouse, and show up mainly in other brick toy lines like Mega Construx or McFarlane builds. So the zombified Steve Rogers looks like a rare counter-example.
Minifigs come in generic bags, though expert collectors can usually tell by touch what’s inside. Crossover fandoms like this generally add to a wave’s popularity and scarcity. Expect them in stores soon, with fairly quick sellouts.
