According to a press release, X2: X-Men United won for Best Comic Book Adaptation at the 2nd Annual SPACEYS, which honor the finest in science fiction and fantasy entertainment.
“X2” was up against American Splendor, Daredevil, The Hulk, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Hellboy star Ron Perlman presented the award, which was accepted by director Bryan Singer.
