Kara Zor-El has changed her look many times over the years. Logistically, this was due to changing fashion trends and DC Comics wanting the Girl of Steel to dress like a modern woman. However, the new Supergirl series establishes Kara as something of a fashionista. This becomes apparent before she revives a classic retro look, to replace her currently damaged super-suit.
